Welcome to 510, the fanlisting for the Japanese musician and actress Goto Maki, former member of the J-pop supergroup Morning Musume from Hello Project. She debuted at the age of 13, when she was selected to become the third generation member of Morning Musume in 1999. Her strong vocals and charm earned her recognition as one of the most successful Hello Project artists, and as a fan-favorite, many credit Maki for helping to solidify the group's dominance on the charts during its golden age in her 3 years with them. She graduated from the group in 2002 in order to focus on her solo career, and took on a sexier image as her works gained maturity. In late 2007, she announced her graduation from Hello Project and took a break from the media, though she soon signed with the Rhythm Zone sublabel under Avex Trax by June 2008.

Currently, she is involved in the SWEET BLACK Project, which is a cross-media collaboration between Avex, Mixi, and J-WAVE. She has released several new digital singles in 2009, and writes her own lyrics now ♪
